About an hour drive from Gibson to this beautiful Ruby lake. It was a breathtaking view!
The lake water was crystal clear, we could see fish jumps around, we chose a perfect day for a weekend get away to visit this lake last summer.
Our friend who lives in Sunshine coast had a old canoe that we can use!
It was so perfect we were able to reach smaller island from the shore.
Once we got to the small island middle of the Ruby lake,
we played water melon cracking game lol
It is a Japanese thing, a blindfolded player with a long wood stick has to crack the water melon, just to follow the teams voice guidance. 🤣 It is pretty hard and fun.
As we were child we could go over and over to try to crack the watermelon, but we got so tired just one round of missed attempts, we ended up taking off the blindfold and smashed the water melon instead. 🤣
This was so good! Cheese in hotdog!
We got so wild, used wood sticks we found and cooked at fire place.
Tasted better than as usual spending time with good friends and nice view and weather.
I wanted to have ice cream too they had so many kinds!! but I was too full from large coffee😎
This is the famous lobster roll place that my friend owns! @ohmis.o
Please look up his cooking journey!
I love ferry ride... ✨
On the way to Gibson to Horseshoe bay, about 45mins.
There are snack vending machines and small food court.
I had a coffee and little snack, 45mins felt like 5 mins ride when I am with my friend laughing so much over the funny pictures we took at the lake. 🤣🤣🤣
Priceless weekend get away 💖
Count moments over things.
It’s been a while sorry I haven’t updated since it’s been way too long.
I am alive. How have you all been?
I am hoping everyone is staying safe and sounds... ❤︎
Few days ago I went on a cruising day trip to deep cove, the weather has been really nice in Vancouver, we had to take an advantage while it last.
It may look pretty hot and warm in the pictures but it was pretty chilly out there especially on the boat.
There were hundreds jellyfish in the water and it was incredible to watch, countless jellyfish floating in the water made me feel like I was in the galaxy. Hahah
and hey! I’m wearing my new favorite bikini from @escapeswimwear ❤︎
I never worn this color in my life but oh my gosh I love it very much.
i looooove simple designed bikinis like this. So cute!!
What kind of swim wear would you prefer?
I have posted pictures from this day so hope you enjoy my adventure trip!
also I will be updating and add some videos here so come back and check in shortly! xo
Ps Thank you for visiting my website :)
When Stanley park gets covered by snow...
The view turns out whole different world.
âI forgot to make a blog about this day!! Me and my co workers went for a mini drive up to Harrison Lake last summer. From Vancouver it is about 2 hours and half trip! We rented out a boat at the lake and enjoyed speeding on a water and jump into the water!

Last summer I had a chance to watch the Vancouver fireworks
from the rooftop with my good friends!
It was super sunny for a long time last year. We were able to get sun kissed skins. =)
We definitely had the best spot to watch the fireworks!
On the left side, it is the English Bay where the fireworks is happening.
On the right side goes towards Vancouver downtown.
I visited my friend's house in the day time, there weren't many people yet at the beach area.
The fireworks starts around 10pm when the sunset is, by mean time this beach area became like a human carpet and I thank lots to my friend for inviting us
we didn't need that hustle to go through too many people. ?
Fire works just started! Beautiful view!!
Lots of boats are out in the ocean you can see, cruising and watching fireworks, and that is something I would like to try next time. ?
The beach area on the left side is packed with people!! too bad
its too dark and can't show in the photos.
It was such a nice experience to see fireworks with a good company!
Until next time... ?
